What we collect

When you register we collect your name, email and optional postcode. When you use the app we store litter reports, cleanup events and activity you create. Location data is only collected when you explicitly report litter or place a cleanup pin.

How we use it

Your data is used solely to run the WeeClean service. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties except as required to operate the service (Supabase for authentication and storage).

Data storage

Account data is stored securely in Supabase (EU region). You can request deletion of your account and all data at any time by emailing hello@weeclean.org.

Cookies

WeeClean uses only essential cookies for authentication. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. Contact hello@weeclean.org for any data requests.

Using WeeClean

WeeClean is a free community service for reporting and cleaning up litter in Glasgow. By using it you agree to use it honestly and in the spirit of making Glasgow cleaner.

Litter reports

Reports should be genuine observations of litter. False or malicious reports are not permitted. Photos must be your own and must not contain personal information about individuals.

Cleanup events

Organisers are responsible for the safety of their events. WeeClean is a coordination tool only — we are not liable for any injuries or incidents. Always follow local council guidance and use appropriate safety equipment.

Community standards

Be respectful of other members. We reserve the right to remove accounts that violate community standards.
